Ok i want to get the universal pylon so i have to complete the bestiary. the problem is with ghouls how can i find them i made an artificial dessert biome (its in the underworld so i can't hear any music other than underworld but its working cuz i saw some antlion larvae) i crimsoned it to get crimson ghoul (tainted ghoul i guess?) And you guessed it, its not spawning
What are the conditions for a ghoul to spawn exactly?

The Ghouls have the same spawn condition as the other Hardmode Underground Desert enemies (Djinns, Lamias, Basilisks and Sand Poachers): if you are seeing any of those, Ghouls should be spawning as well. If you are not seeing those enemies either, then most likely your biome isn't working properly. The conditions are:
- You must be using Treacherous Sandstone or Hardened Sand walls - ordinary walls won't work unless you infect them using the Clentaminator first. You must place these on or above the tiles you are trying to have enemies spawn on.
- You must be in Hardmode.
- You must be underground.
Normally, Underground Desert enemies can also spawn near Underground Desert walls rather then only on them, and also if you yourself are standing in front of such a wall, but this only applies while you're above the cavern layer. The Underworld is too low for that rule to apply.
If you believe you meet all these conditions and these enemies are still not spawning, please post a screenshot of your biome so I can investigate further.

167 is the Blood Squid, these are spawned by the Dreadnautilus.
The Sand Shark variants all have the same base conditions (sandstorm, Hardmode, no AFKing), which type you get depends on the tile they spawn on (normal, Corrupt, Crimson or Hallow). Converting your biome should do the trick.

It's entirely up to you, of course, but you could go for full Bestiary completion, which means unlocking the full drop results for every enemies. To do this, you need to kill every non-boss enemy at least 50 times (with some exceptions). That'll take a while, though!
